Recommended Preventative Maintenance

To help achieve the highest level of uptime, Rockwell Automation recommends that you follow the maintenance schedule that is provided for your operating environment. For environments with a corrosive atmosphere, use
PowerFlex®
755T products with enhanced protection only.
A recommended maintenance schedule is provided for these environments:
  • Operating conditions below 40 °C (104 °F)
  • Operating conditions above 40 °C (104 °F)
IMPORTANT: Duty cycle and load profile can greatly affect the reliability of
PowerFlex®
750-Series Products with
TotalFORCE®
Control.
An annual preventative maintenance program includes the following primary tasks:
  • A visual inspection of all components accessible from the front and bottom of the drive
  • General cleaning and maintenance
  • Tightness checks on all accessible power and cooling loop connections
  • Resistance checks on the power components
  • Power-supply voltage level checks
