Remove and Install the Control Pod Printed Circuit Board Fan Assembly for Frame 7

Replace the control pod printed circuit board fan assembly with kit catalog number SK-RM-PODFAN-F7. Follow these steps to remove and install the control pod printed circuit board fan assembly.
  1. Review the product advisories in Before You Begin.
  2. Remove power from the system.
  3. Open the enclosure door.
  5. Disconnect the fan power wire harness connector J1 (A) from connector P1 in the control pod.
  6. Loosen the two captive screws that secure the fan assembly (B) to the pod chassis and remove the fan assembly.

  7. Install the control pod printed circuit board fan assembly in the reverse order of removal.
