Remove and Install the Power Module Current Sensors for Frames 8...15
Replace the power module current sensors with the appropriate kit catalog number:
- SK-RM-INVCS1-F8M, 622 A (compatible with power module catalog numbers 20-750-MIn-C302D302, 20-750-MIn-C367D361, 20-750-MIn-C460D430, 20-750-MIn-C540D505, and all 20-750-MIn-EnnnFnnn)
- SK-RM-INVCS2-F8M, 1000 A (compatible with power module catalog numbers 20-750-MIn-C585D545, 20-750-MIn-C650D617, 20-750-MIn-C750D710, and 20-750-MIn-C770D740)
Follow these steps to remove and install the current sensors.
- Review the product advisories in Before You Begin.
- Remove power from the system.
- Open the corresponding enclosure door.
- Remove the power module from the enclosure.
- Remove the circuit board tray from the power module.
- Remove the six M8 x 20 mm Torx screws that secure the three flexible bus cables to the IGBT power terminals and pull the flexible bus cables through the opening in the current sensors.
- Remove the six M4 x 10 mm Torx screws that secure the three current sensors to the power module chassis and remove the current sensors.
- TIP: Power module without an inductor shown.
- Install the current sensors in the reverse order of removal.
