Remove and Install the AC Precharge Fused Disconnect (FD1) Fuses for Frame 7

Replace the AC precharge fused disconnect (FD1) fuses with the appropriate kit catalog number that is identified in this table:

The fuse holder (labeled FD1) is on the AC precharge control panel. Follow these steps to remove the AC precharge fused disconnect fuses.
  1. Review the product advisories in Before You Begin.
  2. Remove power from the system.
  3. Open the enclosure door.
  4. Remove the protective guard. See Remove and Install the Protective Guard for Frame 7.
  5. By gripping the top and bottom of the fuse holder on the fused disconnect (labeled FD1), pull out.
  6. Remove the fuse from the fuse holder.

  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each fuse.
  8. Insert the fuse into the fuse holder (A).
  9. Align the tabs (B) on the fuse holder with the slots (C) in the fused disconnect and insert the fuse holder.
