Remove a Protective Cover from a Fiber Transceiver with Dielectric Grease

Do not touch or allow the transceiver edge connector (A) to contact surfaces other than the receiving connector.
  1. Hold the middle of the fiber-optic transceiver.
  2. Remove the covers (B) from the ends of the transceiver.
