Global

Global keyboard shortcuts
Shortcut	Description
F1	Open FactoryTalk Optix Help.
Ctrl + C	Copy the selected item.
Ctrl + V	Paste the copied item into the selected location.
Ctrl + Z	Undo previous action.
Ctrl + Y	Redo previous action.
Ctrl + S	Save the current FactoryTalk Optix Application project.
F5	Run FactoryTalk Optix Application . For more information, see Deploy a FactoryTalk Optix Application.
Ctrl + Shift + F	Find text in the current project. For more information, see Find text in a project.
Ctrl + Shift + H	Find and replace text in the current project. For more information, see Replace text in a project.
Delete	Delete the selected item.
Esc	Discard edits or close a dialog.
Alt + Enter	Add a new line.
Enter	Interact with the selected item.

Shortcut	Description
Up arrow	Select previous item.
Down arrow	Select next item.
Right arrow	Expand the selected item.
Left arrow	Collapse the selected item.
Alt + Left arrow	Select the previously selected item in Project view . For more information, see Project view.
Alt + Left arrow	Select the next item in Project view . For more information, see Project view.
Shift + left mouse click	Select all items between the selected item and the clicked item.
F2	Rename the selected item.

Up arrow	Move the selected object up on the grid.

Left arrow	Move the selected object left on the grid.
Right arrow	Move the selected object right on the grid.
Shift + Up arrow	Move the selected object up and align the object to the grid.
Shift + Down arrow	Move the selected object down and align the object to the grid.
Shift + Left arrow	Move the selected object left and align the object to the grid.
Shift + Right arrow	Move the selected object right and align the object to the grid.
