Modbus Slave View

Use Modbus Slave view to configure settings for Modbus communication as a Master slave.

Available Choices
Modbus Format
Determines whether the Modbus transmission format is Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII.
  • 0 = RTU (default)
  • 1 = ASCII
Inter-frame Timeout
Specifies maximum delay time to receive data for the RTU.
TIP: This parameter is available only when Modbus Format is set to Modbus RTU.
0 is not a valid value.
Use Table 2 and Table 3 to determine the minimum value.
Node Address
Specifies the node address of the slave.
1…247 (default = 1)
Diagnostics
When the controller status is online, open the Diagnostics dialog to view diagnostic counters for performance and error management with the Modbus Slave.
Select Diagnostics to see the diagnostic information of the Modbus Slave channel.
