Which licenses do I need to create and deploy projects?
You can create and deploy projects by using FactoryTalk Optix Studio with some limitations. To use all deployment features, you need to purchase FactoryTalk Optix Studio Pro. If you deploy a FactoryTalk Optix Application without licensing the target machine, the application will run for two hours before shutting down automatically.
What kind of software do I need to create and deploy projects?
You need FactoryTalk Optix Studio or FactoryTalk Optix Studio Pro to develop projects and FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools to run FactoryTalk Optix Applications on target devices. See FactoryTalk Optix Installation Guide.
